Sachie Matsushita, 1976 in Kagoshima, Japan geboren, erhielt seit frühester Kindheit eine klassische Klavierausbildung, anfangs in der YAMAHA Music School und später in der Togo Music Academy in Kagoshima und war mehrfache Preisträgerin diverser Wettbewerbe.
Zwischen dem 16. und 23. Lebensjahr hörte sie mit dem Klavierspielen auf.
Von 1995 bis 1999 studierte sie Pharmazie an der Kumamoto Universität, Japan. Danach arbeitete sie sechs Jahre lang als Pharmazeutin, Forscherin, Dozentin in Japan, Korea und Deutschland in den Bereichen Pharmazie und Medizin.
Mit 23 Jahren hörte sie zum ersten Mal Live-Jazz und entdeckte ihre Leidenschaft für diese Musik.
Sie nahm Unterricht bei dem Jazzpianisten Ryoichi Tashima und verrspürte rasch ihre Lust und den Drang zu komponieren.
Den Zugang zum musikalischen Leben fand sie vor allem in Deutschland, wo sie 2004 unter ihrem bisherigen beruflichen Werdegang einen Schlussstrich zog.
Sie beschloss in Deutschland zu bleiben und studierte von 2006 bis 2008 „Jazz und Popularmusik“ an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main.
Bis jetzt sind folgende CDs erschienen: Trio Album „Japan mets Germany Vol.1 -Umi-Kaze“ in 2010, Solo Album „Tribute“ und Duo Album „Suite – JMG Vol.2“ in 2011, Quartett Album „Birds“ in 2014 und Trio Album „Free“ in 2016.
Sie hat mit der „Japan meets Germany”-Duo, -Trio, -Quartett -Besetzung zahlreiche Auftritte auf Jazzfestivals, Jazzclubs und auch bei Benefizkonzerten, sowie Klavierrecitals im klassischen Bereich in Deutschland und Japan.
2017 komponierte sie für Luther 500 Jahre Reformation eine Messe und dirigierte selbst die Uraufführung in der Paul-Gerhardt-Kirche in Mannheim.
松下幸恵 マツシタ サチエは1976年鹿児島県に生まれる。
4歳よりピアノを始める。
幼児期はヤマハ音楽教室にて、小・中学校期は東郷音楽学院にてレッスンを受け、ジュニアピアノコンクール等で受賞する。
16歳から23歳の間ピアノから離れる。
1995年から1999年は熊本大学薬学部で学び、卒業後、病院薬剤師、研究者、講師として薬学、医学の分野で日本、韓国、ドイツにて６年間職歴を積む。
23歳の時初めてジャズのライブを聴きこの音楽に傾倒していく。
ジャズピアニスト田島良一氏に師事し、この時期から作曲への意欲と衝動に駆られる。
ドイツにて音楽の道を見つけ、2004年にこれまでの仕事に区切りを付けてドイツへ移住する。
2008年にフランクフルト音楽・舞台芸術大学ジャズ・ポピュラー音楽専攻科を卒業する。
2010年にトリオアルバム「海-風」でデビューし、2011年にソロピアノアルバム「トリビュート」、デュオアルバム「組曲 」、2014年にカルテットアルバム「鳥」、2016年にトリオアルバム「奔放」をリリースする。
ドイツ赤十字社の東日本大震災復興支援チャリティーコンサート、ソロピアノコンサート、ドイツ国内ジャズフェスティバル等で演奏する。
2017年はマルティン・ルター宗教改革500周年記念ミサ曲を作曲し、自身の指揮による初演をマンハイム、パウルゲルハード教会にて行う(写真)。
Sachie Matsushita was born in 1976 in Kagoshima, Japan.
She received classical piano lessons from a very early age, at first in YAMAHA Music School and later in Togo Music Academy in Kagoshima.
She won many prizes in various piano contests, however, the ages of 16 to 23, she no longer played the piano.
From 1995 to 1999, she studied pharmacy at the Kumamoto University, Japan.
After her gradulation, she worked as a pharmacist, researcher and lecturer in Japan, Korea and Germany, in the fields of pharmacy and medicine for six years. At the age of 23, she first heard live jazz and discovered her passion for this music.
She took lessons from jazz pianist Ryoichi Tashima and quickly experienced the desire and the urge to compose.
In Germany, she found her musical life and gave up her career in pharmacy and medicine in 2004.
She decided to stay in Germany and studied „jazz and popular music“ at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts from 2006 to 2008.
The following albums have been released : trio album „Japan meets Germany Vol.1 -Umi-Kaze“ in 2010, solo album „Tribute“ as well as duo album „Suite – JMG VOL.2“ in 2011, quartet album “Birds” in 2014 and trio album “Free” in 2016.
Successful live performances are held with the “Japan meets Germany”-Duo, -Trio and -Quartet at jazz festivals, in jazz clubs and at benefit concerts, as well as in classical piano recitals in Germany and Japan.
In 2017, she composed a mass for Luther 500 years of the Reformation and even conducted the premiere in the Paul Gerhardt church in Mannheim.
